I rely on an income to help support my family and like you, expect to be paid on time, if you are experiencing a financial strain, please contact me first before enrolling your child. You may be accepted for daycare subsidy.
In order to provide my own family with a stable financial situation, I can not offer any refunds or discounts for days your child is not in my care due to your family's holidays/vacations, illness or any other days when you choose to not bring your child. Although I realize Child Care is a major expense for many working parents, I also rely on this business to help support my family. Since I will be holding your child's space for you to use, I charge based on that space, whether it is used or not.
PAYMENT POLICIES
All cheques must be dated for the first of the month before care is needed. After a one month trial period, if you wish to continue, I require a 12 month supply of post dated cheques. It is your responsibility to submit another 12 month supply until you decide to withdraw your child. (This does not apply to drop in Families). Parents/Guardians are responsible for full fees.
NSF CHEQUES - Any fees that are returned NSF will be charged an additional $45.00 charge and must be paid along with the monthly fee before care will continue.
UNPAID/LATE FEES - Any unpaid fees will have a late charge of $25.00 per day until the full fee is paid. If full payment is not received by the 2nd of the month in which the fee is owed, will result in immediate withdrawal of the child and possible court action. I ask you to consider how you would feel if your employer came to you on payday and told you that your paycheck would be delayed. Please do not put me in the uncomfortable position of having to ask for your payments and late fees repeatedly. This is why post-dated cheques work so well, nobody forgets and there are no hard feelings. Financial Subsidy assistance is available, please contact your nearest Social Services for more info.
DAYCARE SUBSIDY
If you require help with your monthly payments, subsidies through the Ministry are available for those families who qualify. Parents who do qualify are responsible for full fees if the necessary forms and approval information is not received by the Centre BEFORE the first of the month in which care is needed.
As mentioned Daycare Subsidy is available for those that qualify. There is full subsidy and partial. If you are accepted for either please let me know. I will need a copy of your faxed subsidy application, along with proof of fax, subsidy or contact client # and your social workers name and number. Please mention to your social worker that I may be calling to verify that you have been approved and the following info:
start and end date, parent payment portion
It is your job as Parent/Guardian to re-apply BEFORE the subsidy end date and supply me with the info, otherwise your space may no longer be available.
FEES
- Registration Fee: $100.00 (non-refundable) This fee keeps your child's place before enrollment and lets me know you are serious about enrolling your child in my centre. It also helps pay for supplies your child may use, field trips, field trip shirt & hat, home newsletter package and personal emergency kit.
- FULL TIME CARE FEE (3 or more days per week) per child, per month:
0 - 3 Years: $800.00
3 - 5 Years: $770.00
Kindergarten/School Age drop off/pick up: $500.00
School Age Summer Care: $750.00
School Age Summer Care: $750.00
Pro-D-Days: $40.00 Per Day
- PART TIME CARE FEE (1-2 days per week) per child, per day:
0 - 3 Years: $45.00
3 Years - 5 Years: $40.00
Kindergarten/School Age Summer Care: $40.00 per day
Hourly Drop In Rate (5 hours & under): $8.00 per hour (to a max of $50.00 per day)
DROP IN: Please call before arrival to make sure there is a spot available or you can place your name on my wait list for that day. Children must be pre-registered before drop in care in needed.
PARENTS/GUARDIANS: Please remember that any day your child is absent due to any reasons (IE: Dr. App, holiday/vacation,sick, or other, that you are still responsible for paying for their spot when they would normally be here. Although they are not in my care, I am still holding a spot open for when they return. (This does not apply to Drop In Child Care arrangements unless agreed to otherwise in writing). Please remember this is a Business and I have only so many spots I can fill each day. My current maximum is 2 children, not including my own. This will be changing soon to 7 which will include my own. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns over absence's before you sign the Parent/Guardian Contract.
HEALTHY HOT LUNCH PROGRAM

Here is an example:
Morning and Afternoon Snacks may consist of 2 or more of the following: Apples, Oranges, Bananas, Melon, Peas, Carrots, Celery, Mushrooms, Kiwi, Cucumber, Strawberries and other types of fruit and Vegetables. It will also include crackers or toast, cheeze or yogurt.
Lunch will consist of one main meal: Stew, Tacos, Veggi Soup, Spahgetti, Pita Pocket, Grilled Cheese Sandwiches, Chicken Wrap and a side salad or mixed raw veggie plate.
